The Mod Squad Chronicles: Keeping the Server Standing (Barely)
Once upon a time, or maybe sometime around 2 a.m. on a Tuesday, a little corner of the internet came alive. Messages flew faster than anyone could read, memes multiplied like rabbits, and somehow, against all odds, the server survived.
But not by luck.
No, it survived because of a small but mighty team—the ones who guard the chat, silence the nonsense, and secretly question their life choices every time someone pings @everyone.
That team are the Mods of OSE:
Johnny9191
If you’ve ever wondered who’s quietly keeping watch while you’re acting up in chat, it’s most definitely Johnny. He’s the serious one, the multitasker, and somehow the equivalent of four mods in one. Nothing slips by him. Not a message, not a Meme, not even a typo. He’s the center of the operation—sharp, steady, and impossible to fool. The others swear he has a sixth sense for catching trouble before it even happens. If the server had a heartbeat, Johnny’s probably the one keeping it in rhythm.
Uncle Nick
Uncle Nick is the wildcard. The strong, silent type who seems to materialize whenever you least expect it. He can build a bOt faster than you can say the word. A software engineer with a side of mystery, a knack for cybersecurity, and one heck of a story about selling a MacBook to Courtney Love (yes, Kurt Cobain’s late paramour). Outside of here, he races motorcycles on the track and cops off the track—yet he still finds the time to make sure the server’s digital defenses are bulletproof.
Squizzy (aka Symone)
Our resident romantic, cat mom, and low-key plant whisperer. When she’s not cooking up something delicious (or questionable), she’s spreading good vibes and heart emojis everywhere. She keeps things green and grounDed, even when the server’s wild—kind of like a homegrown dose of sunshine in human form. She’s the kind of mod that can diffuse a meltdown with a well-placed emoji and a “you good boo?”
Gucci (Oh Gucci)
He’s the opportunist, the weasel, the walking side hustle. If there’s a way to turn a situation into profit, Gucci’s already three steps ahead and probably halfway through the transaction. He’s a cat dad, bad chef, part-time menace, and a prisoner in the making. But even underneath all of that he’s charming as hell and loyal when it counts. He’s that guy who causes half the chaoS and fixes the other half.
Tyler (aka GamblecodeZ)
An Okie from Muskogee with Cherokee and Polish roots, he’s the heart of this place in ways most don’t even see. Without question, his heart is with his dog Riley. Riley was being beaten, starved, and caged; Tyler walked in and rescued Riley—but as it turns out, Riley is actually who keeps Tyler grounded when life seems a bit too much. Despite having his own slew of people, codes, and links to manage on his Telegram channel, he still is just a ping or message away, ready and willing to assist in any way. A true Quiet hero.
Skecentopo
And somewhere in the background, like a shadow with Wi-Fi, lurks Skecentopo. He’s hard to track down; messages may even vanish into the void before he replies. But when the chips are down, he’s there—always helping, always fixing, always making sure the whole machine doesn’t overheat. You might not see him often, but his fingerprints are on every bit of order that somehow survives here. Always dependable, always Under the radar.
MikaylaRose (aka Moe)
One of the newest members of our team—and boy is she in for a ride! She’s the mom of two who traded long hours in a noisy RV factory for freedom, independence, and Discord chaos. She found her way into this world by accident, but she stAyed because she found her people. Now, she balances two kids, a business, and helps keep this circus from collapsing—all before her second cup of coffee.
Ashnic89 (aka Ashley)
And lastly, there’s Ashley, the creative force behind this very blog post. She’s the reason most of the other mods need therapy (and probably some of you as well). By day, she’s a highly trained and certified teeth-scraper extraordinaire (Doesn’t that sound so cool?), and by night, she’s one very lucky mommy. In case some of you didn’t already know, if you ever need to know anything serious she is NOT the one—but if it’s fun, she’s probably already planning it!
