Yes I know I am like 5 years late to the party. I’ve had a stake account for a very long time but never got interested in them enough to level. Always did freebies and maybe tiny deposit once in a blue moon. I am now interested in leveling. So gimme the best tips and strats, games to play etc. I am aware they made it monumentally harder to level compared to the early days so no need to come in here and flex on me. Just help me out ![]()
I got some wager tips for ya, Jox!! I know this wasn’t your question, but if you’re starting from 0 wager, I’d probably recommend Shuffle over Stake. After looking through my affiliate stats from the past year, Shuffle (affiliate link) has consistently given players higher weekly/monthly bonuses. I can show you what I’m talking about over DM if you’re curious. Otherwise, the sites are pretty similar, so that’s why I’d lean toward Shuffle over Stake.
Now lets get into my favorite wagering strategy. ive personally used this strategy to wager over 30k in 1 day from 100 bucks. You still need luck obviously but this is my go-to.
The reverse martingale aka paroli strat created by a man named Blaise Pascal, the inventor of roulette, and mathematician came up with the idea of the Paroli gambling strategy.
Your goal using the Paroli system is always to secure three consecutive wins, whether you’re using it in Limbo (My preferred), Keno, Dice, Tower, or really any game. You double your stake after each win, then return to your starting bet after a loss or once you’ve hit three wins in a row.
The exact setup I use on Limbo is
Starting bet $2 (Change this depending on your bankroll size. Id recommend starting with around 1/50th of your total bankroll for that session)
Target multiplier 1.94 (50.5 chance of winning each roll)
increase on win : 100%
Stop after 3 wins
Reset on Loss
In my example using $2 start bet
Roll 1: $2 at 1.94× → $1.88 profit
Roll 2: $4 at 1.94× → $3.76 profit
Roll 3: $8 at 1.94× → $7.52 profit
After 3 straight wins, your total profit is $13.16.
You wagered $14 total and received $27.16 back overall.
You can run up a ton of wager especially if you catch a hot streak. I learned this from @Martinx310 a few years ago and been using it on original games ever since. He likes to go for 4, 5 or 6 wins consecutively but its a ton more volatile that way. If your goal is wager, id stick to 3 in a row then reset; that’s the og Blaise Pascal way.
Hope this helps and isnt too much of a read lol!!
Thank you @Backinthejox for your post submission! We like it and have renamed the thread to Casino Wagering Strategies & Tips Megathread for better visibility. Thanks!! ![]()
For wagering I tend to use plinko 16 rows on low risk if the casino has it. I’ve had a lot of successful run ups with this same strategy as well (doubling when it hits 0.5x and resetting when it hits 1.2x or higher (or 1.1x twice!)). It also can eat into a balance.
I do have roulette and baccarat strategies but those are for running up a balance and are a bit riskier, not for wager.
I don’t have the numbers to prove how effective it is exactly, but forever ago someone told me best way to get your wager up with playing original Baccarat and putting (x) amount on both Customer and Banker, then just letting that run on Auto. Saw little to no losses and was in fact, super fast and effective.
i have a few wagering strategies i do. one is i start off low and everytime i get a good win or a bonus round i double my bet. i like that one because i feel like it confuses the rtp (i know it doesn’t but one can hope lol)
i also like to do kind of the opposite if i have a high enough balance and do some big boy spins hoping to get into a bonus especially if theres a booster because i know it’ll go crazy if i actually get into one
i like keno too and my keno strategy is auto pick for w few rounds see what numbers are hitting then do like a block of 4-6 numbers and try to hit that 333x i did it once and it was lovely
In a perfect world I wouldn’t play with money I couldn’t afford to lose. I just messed up big time with this but anyways do as I say and not as I do.. but when it comes to wagering (usually I’m using my daily allowance) i usually start with a ten cent slot. I also tend to play the exact same slot every time until I actually get it to hit.. epic joker if they have it has literally shot my balance to an amount I can actually gamble with elsewhere lol..
OKAY LETS BE REAL I HAVE NO DAMN STRAGEDY OKAY IF I DID I DANG SURE WOULD BE IN BETTER SHAPE THAN I AM LOL Hope this helps ![]()

Most of the time i start with plinko or Keno with .05 or .10 if my balance is low until i get around $10 then i move to slots if im not getting awesome wins by that point, if i am getting awesome wins ill gradually increase my bet and/or rows (plinko). slots i usually start at .10 or .20 sometimes lower depending on the slots minimum then i try 20 spins and if i get 1 or 2 decent hits i stay for a few more and hope something good hits or a bonus then i up my bet 1 or 2 notches otherwise i move on and start the processs over with a different slot or go back to plinko or keno
OL Faithful Limbo Strategy
By an Ol Limbo Bimbo
Just like all games, you can win a lot.. Or you can lose a lot with just a press of a button. Adding a strategy to the mix often times increases your odds of winning.. Here is one of my favorite tried and true Limbo strategies..
Ideally you would like to start off with a good sized bankroll.. but even with smaller numbers it can work in your favor.
MULTI: 3x. BET AMOUNT: $0.15
INCR ON WIN: 200%
PROF STOP: $1.22
Simple enough, use a 3x multiplier, and add a 200% increase on win.. Now you have to pay attention. This will increase your bet amount to exactly what you just won. So if you lose.. The bet amount cancels out your win amount. Keep a low profit stop also because in this strategy you will be losing money in order to ultimately make money.. the ideal is to lose to an extent.. then when RTP kicks you will ultimately have a win streak that will be enough to put you back up and over your starting point. But since this is being done by an increasing amount by the time it gets back up to your starting point your win size will be so large you gain nice profits.(anything over your profit stop amount) this takes practice and patience and good ol experience.. but its a proven strategy and has been loved by many for years.
I like to start off with keno 10 spaces and I play on High hard every time. And then about halfway through if it’s going decently, well, and I’ve came up a little bit, I’ll break it down to about 7 squares and it might take a few times but I’ve learned about 85% of the time I will hit Five or six , if not all seven and 56 and seven I believe are couple , hundreds times whatever my wager is , so it’s always a good win
Well I fly by the seat of my pants usually on a wing and a prayer. Closing your eyes, crossing your fingers and taking a stab in the dark is also a good option.
But seriously I can’t afford high bets so I just do the the bottom two bets and try to build and grow. 10 spins on lowest and if it shows any potential 10 on next highest bet. Sure I don’t win big like most other people but my only luck is bad luck do this is my strategy.
Its very hit or miss but i usually ask anyone im around i know that gambles, what are there favorite bet lines .20 .30 .40 cents etc etc. What i gathered from all the people ive asked and this only goes up to 2 dollars that people dont usually play the .30 bet .70 & .80 bet , 1.20/25 , 1.75 . So my Theory is that since everyone usually plays those other bet lines, there has to be alot of wins left on those other bet lines. I mite be crazy but it seems to work for me for the most part , i always just end up jacking the bet up to high and to quick bc i want to win big and now
Instead of gradually making my
Way up the bet lines and taking something out of the casino
I play the laddering bet. Which means I basically start at the minimum bet for whichever slot I pick and when I hit a bonus I move up to the next bet level. I usually start at $100 and play that way until I double and cash out.
Honestly I haven’t been able to deposit in a looooong time due to my financial circumstances, but I’ve withdrawn from my daily a couple times by doing auto dice at $0.01 7% win chance until I’m able to 5x my daily. Then I’ll decrease win chance to 3%, then 1%. you’d be surprised at how frequently dice hits over 99
Or on stake I’ll do Snakes on medium 4 or 5 rolls. That builds balance pretty quick.
And if you wanna get your wager up, just gotta run 99% dice with your bet size like 20% of your balance, and have it stop on loss just so you can babysit your balance ![]()
I’ve been testing a conservative dice/autobet setup built around a high base win chance and tightly defined loss controls.
The strategy starts at an 85% win chance with a 1% house edge, which produces roughly a 1.1647× payout. My base bet is $0.05 on a $20 starting bankroll.
The progression is designed to react differently depending on the loss pattern:
• After a 2-loss streak, increase win chance to 90%.
• After the same 2-loss condition, increase the bet by 50%.
• On every additional loss, increase the current bet by 25%.
• On any win, reset both the bet amount and win chance back to their base settings.
The idea is not to chase indefinitely. The higher win chance after back-to-back losses is meant to improve the probability of ending the sequence, while the gradual bet increases attempt to recover part of the drawdown without jumping straight into an aggressive Martingale-style multiplier.
Risk controls are the most important part of the setup:
• Stop after a 6-loss streak
• Stop at +35% net profit
• Stop at −30% net loss
60 /40 Bankroll
Nothing beats the house, but this keeps you from torching your stack in one night. Split what you can lose into two piles: play with the 60%, park the 40% as your safety net.
Set limits first: quit at +50% or −25%, cap sessions at 20–30 minutes. Control your discipline and your exit — that’s all you really can control.
Three rules that i TRY to follow (i break my rules too often for comfort tho unfortunately but on the rare times i can defeat my inner degen urges, these rules have helped me tremendously)
-
Only bet money you can lose; never touch your main balance.
-
Bet flat, 1–2% of budget, on even-money games. Don’t double up after a loss.
-
The 40% reserve is for one case only — you’ve lost half the 60%. If that goes too, you’re done for the day.
Well let’s see lol whenever I get on a site and say I deposit 20 bucks I’ll start my bet at 1 dollar or 1.25 and if I don’t win good by the time I get down to 15 I’ll drop it to .60 and before I get down to ten I usually hit pretty good lol
Perplexity helped alot sorry I ran out of time heres the draft. I treat every casino, provider, and game as one bankroll. The goal is not to find a game that is “due.” It is to make better decisions about what I am buying, how much I am risking, and when I am done.
My approach is based on personal empirical data, fixed bankroll limits, and protecting wins. It is designed to help me choose games whose observed volatility fits my balance—not to predict an independent spin.
Core principles
Use one bankroll. All sites, games, deposits, and balances are one pool of money. Changing casinos does not reset losses, risk, or the amount already wagered.
Treat online RTP as marketing, not proof. Online vendors present RTP as a precise number, but the player generally cannot independently inspect the live configuration, verify the exact deployed version, or audit the game-level payout data. I treat displayed RTP as promotional information, not as a reliable decision metric. Instead, I build my own practical estimates from tracked play.
Use your own data to choose games. For games I know well—Gold Gold Gold, Joker Jewels Hot, Queen of Cairo, and similar titles—I track:
-
Typical line-hit size
-
Frequency of meaningful returns
-
Length of common dry spells
-
Approximate spins per feature
-
Feature hit rate and typical feature return
-
Bonus-buy cost and results
-
Drawdown speed at a given bet size
Demo mode is useful for learning the game’s mechanics, pay table, feature triggers, and general rhythm before risking money. Real-money logs then show whether the game’s observed volatility fits my bankroll.
Choose bankroll-friendly games. With a smaller balance, I prefer games where my own history shows relatively frequent meaningful line hits and manageable drawdowns. I avoid games that usually require hundreds of spins, repeated bonus buys, or a rare huge feature just to recover ordinary losses.
Keep sizing simple. Base spins should usually be around 0.5–1% of total bankroll. A $500 bankroll supports roughly $2.50–$5 base bets. Bonus buys are judged by their full price: a 100x bonus buy at $1 is a $100 wager, not a $1 wager.
Set limits before starting. For disciplined play, I use a 10–20% loss limit and a 10–20% win threshold. For a feature-hunting session, I may accept a 50–70% loss allowance, but only if that limit and the maximum number of attempts are decided before playing.
Vault wins and never chase. Once the win threshold is reached, I take half of the profit off the table or move it to a vault. At the loss limit, I stop. I do not raise bets because a game has been cold, a feature missed, or a previous bonus was weak.
Change game types after a strong win. If Plinko produces a big win, I may move to slots. If a volatile slot runs up my balance, I may move to Deuces Wild, video poker, live tables, or another genre. Each game type has a different hit frequency, volatility profile, payout tail, and pace. Changing types keeps one high-variance structure from consuming the whole bankroll.
Retire a game after an exceptional hit. Personally, if I hit a max win or an unusually extreme result—such as a five-scatter max win on a Hacksaw game—I retire that title for a long time or permanently. This is not because I assume the machine remembers me or has changed future odds. It is because the game has already delivered the outcome I wanted, and continuing is usually a poor emotional decision: it encourages me to recycle a rare win into the exact same high-volatility environment.
New Games Hit More Often This may be bro science but I am a firm believer new releases have bigger payout frequencies and upsides and if you get a hot new game milk it for all its worth and then don’t revisit the next day expecting a similar payout behavior its one and done usually in my experience.
Concrete example
Start with a total bankroll of $500 across every platform.
-
Normal base-spin range: $2.50–$5
-
Disciplined-session loss limit: $75 (15%)
-
Win threshold: $75
-
Win-lock balance: $575
If the bankroll reaches $575, I vault at least half of the $75 profit—$37.50—and continue only with a new, smaller-risk plan.
If the bankroll falls to $425, I stop the current game. I can later choose another genre with new stake sizing and new limits, but I do not double stakes, switch casinos to reset the loss, or buy a feature to recover the $75.
Before opening Gold Gold Gold, I review my notes. I look at average line-hit size, meaningful-return frequency, common dry-spell length, approximate spins per feature, and typical feature outcomes. If those numbers suggest that a $2.50 stake can survive ordinary dry spells inside the $75 limit, I play one fixed block of perhaps 30–40 spins.
If the game usually needs more exposure than that before it becomes interesting, it does not fit this session. I lower the stake or choose a more bankroll-friendly game.
If Plinko pushes the bankroll beyond the win threshold, I vault profit first. If I continue, I change game types and reset the plan rather than immediately replaying Plinko.
If a Hacksaw title produces a max win, I record it and retire the game. I do not revisit it the next day trying to reproduce the same result.
Steps
-
Count every balance. Combine every casino, wallet, and platform into one bankroll.
-
Set the risk numbers. Choose base stake, stop-loss, win threshold, time limit, and maximum bonus-buy count.
-
Check personal game data. Review tracked spins and demo play: line-hit size, hit frequency, feature pace, volatility, feature outcomes, and average drawdown.
-
Choose a game that fits. Select a title whose observed behavior can fit inside today’s stake and loss limit.
-
Define the exact wager. Decide whether it is base play, a bonus buy, an ante, Extra Chance, or another paid mechanic. Count the full dollar cost.
-
Play one fixed block. Keep the stake stable. Do not react to individual losses, near misses, or weak bonuses.
-
Review at the block boundary. Check the current bankroll against the preset loss and win thresholds.
-
Follow the limit. Stop at the loss limit. At the win threshold, vault half or more of profit.
-
Protect exceptional wins. Retire a title after a max win or extreme result instead of trying to repeat it.
-
Change genre after a major win if continuing. Shift into a distinct game type and reset stake, pace, and limits before playing again.
My one and only favorite game I kinda even have a strategy for is mines. I’ll do either 5 mines and hit random for 10 in a row, or do 10 mines and try to end up with 5. It’s not much but it’s honest work!
